how do I move my templates from 1 workspace to another
You cannot directly move templates between workspaces. To access templates in a different workspace, you need to be invited to that workspace since each workspace requires separate access. For personal templates, you can duplicate your table and move it to a separate workbook within the same workspace. If you need the template structure in a new account/workspace, you can share your table as a template to get a shareable link, then open and use it in the new workspace.
What if all my templates are in my workspace but I'm working across customer workspaces? How do i manage that
Hi, thank you for reaching out. In order to do this you will have to share your table as a template. To do so, go to "Actions" and select "Share as template...":
Following this, from the menu that appears select "Turn on sharing". After this, a menu will appear where you can copy a link to share your table's template. This is shown below:
Sharing this link will allow you to share the table's enrichments and column order with someone else outside your workspace. Let me know if this helps.
That's absolutely brutal -- you're saying I need to recreate ALL my templates in every workspace I work in?
that's ridiculous
Hey there Mathew, I'll relay this to our product owners. Any additional context is welcome, so we can keep your situation in mind as we build out the roadmap.
How am I supposed to work with multiple clients if I can re-use my templates?
Hi Mathew,
Our product foundations team is working on share usability between workspaces and accounts. Does sharing the templated workspace work for you as a temporary workaround? Are there any particular features you would like to see in this feature? Or just the ability to access your tables from your master account while operating in your clients' accounts?
I want my templates to come with me everywhere
with the ability to "share" them with a specific workspace
Thanks for this! I've relayed this to our product owners. Is there anything else I can help you with?
nope thank you
