Hi all, I have a list of 750 domains/websites that i pulled from Clay's Google Maps local business finder. What enrichment can I use to find the right decision maker at each? I'm new to Clay, so any help would be useful.
You can use several enrichment options to find decision makers for your Google Maps domains: 1. Use Claygent (Clay's AI research agent) to identify decision makers from company websites. This comes with pre-built prompts you can customize to find specific roles. 2. Run waterfall enrichment to find and validate work emails of these decision makers once identified. 3. For companies, start with "corner pieces" like domain and company social URLs, then use company enrichment waterfalls to get additional data. 4. Enrich people with demographic details like job title, bio, education, and work experience to better identify the right decision makers. 5. You can customize AI prompts to find specific roles beyond just company owners - particularly useful when you have the website domain from Google Maps.

what if only marketing, sales, CEOs, founders, procurement, and store managers?
To find decision makers with specific roles from your domain list: 1. Import your 750 domains into a Clay table (you can use CSV import). 2. Use Clay's Find People feature to search for contacts at these companies with specific job titles: • Set filters for titles containing "Marketing," "Sales," "CEO," "Founder," "Procurement," or "Store Manager" • Add seniority filters if needed (e.g., Director-level and above) 3. Preview your results before importing to ensure you're getting the right contacts. 4. After importing, run waterfall enrichment to find and verify work emails and other contact details. 5. For additional data points, enrich people with demographic details like job titles, bios, education, and work experience. 6. Use the "Find key decision makers" feature by inputting company domains to automatically discover decision makers and their work emails.
it says "The selected company table has no valid company identifiers.'
This error occurs because Clay needs specific company identifiers to find people at those companies. When using the "Find people at these companies" feature, you need either company domains or LinkedIn URLs as identifiers. To fix this issue: 1. Make sure your domain column is properly formatted (e.g., "clay.com" not "https://www.clay.com") 2. When using the "Find people" modal: • Select your table under "Companies" • Choose the column containing your domains under "Company Identifier" • Make sure the domains are clean and properly formatted If your domains aren't being recognized, try: ** Checking for formatting issues in your domain column ** Verifying the domains are valid using the "Use company names to get domains" template * Making sure you've selected the correct column in the "Find people" modal Once your domains are properly recognized, you can set filters for the specific roles you mentioned (Marketing, Sales, CEOs, etc.) in the search parameters.
