Hey guys, anyone knows how to properly integrate and push clay contacts into QuickMail? I would appreciate any link for the guide, thanks!
Clay integrates with popular email sequencers like Instantly, SmartLead, Outreach.io, SalesLoft, and Lemlist. While QuickMail isn't specifically mentioned in our documentation, you can connect to any tool using our HTTP API integration. The general process is: 1. Set up your email sequencing tool - Create a new campaign in your sequencer 2. Connect Clay to your sequencer - Input your API key to link platforms 3. Add leads to campaign - Use Clay's "Add Lead to Campaign" feature 4. Map contact data - Ensure email, name, job title and key fields are properly assigned For detailed guidance, check our Clay University lesson "Push Data To Your Email Sequencer [Clay 101]" which covers the complete integration process. If you need help setting up the HTTP API connection for QuickMail specifically, request human assistance by clicking "Talk to a person."
Hey there thanks for reaching out, this can be done using the HTTP API integration here, I see that you already have a column for this setup. If we can find the API documentation for Quick Mail we can check to see how it would want everything configured here
Here;s the documentation from quickmail https://quickmail.notion.site/PUBLIC-API-v2-Documentation-1340cf85ca3180be8521d343a747efef?pvs=7
Hey there thanks for sharing, this should be setup now, all that is missing here is to include your API key inside of the Headers section of the integration setup.
Thanks, did you edit the column inside the table?
I did entered the API key but it did not work still.
Heyy, I just checked your table and the API doc you shared. It seems that you were using the wrong API Endpoint. I updated it and tried to re-run the cells and now the error is that you don't have API access on your current plan with QuickMail.
So, you'd have to get API access from QuickMail in order for this to work. Let me know if I can help you with anything else :)
Thanks Smit, I will contact the quickmail support and get back on this asap.
Hey There! Happy to take a look into this. The status 200 indicates a successful data send and signal from Quickmail, but an error message was returned from them stating "No query string was present". I believe this is likely due to the formatting of one of the passthrough columns or a missing query within the JSON you have set up. I would recommend reaching back out to Quickmail to double-check and confirm what is needed for the API call. A potential flag is the "email" object type being used for email, rather than plain text, but this can only be confirmed by Quickmail's API documentation. Hope this helps!
Thanks Hari, I am still getting the same error, here's the json if that helps.
Hey - Your API key is valid (i.e. it's being recognized), but your QuickMail account plan doesn't include access to their GraphQL API.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions!
Hey there, thanks for reaching out! Could you share a link to the API documentation? Itβs a bit tough to troubleshoot without that context. Happy to take a closer look once we have it!
Hi Daniel, sure. Here's the document https://quickmail.notion.site/PUBLIC-API-v2-Documentation-1340cf85ca3180be8521d343a747efef
Hey There! Happy to help with this - just to clarify are you trying to create a lead or assign an email to a campaign?
Hi, it's resolved now. We can close it. Thanks
No worries!
