I am at the end of my credits on the explorer plan and want to move to a month to month version of the pro plan. Is there a way of enacting that immediately? I only see an option where it will convert at teh end of my billing period next year
Yes, you can upgrade immediately. When you upgrade your plan, your new plan activates immediately and your billing cycle resets right away. To upgrade to the monthly Pro plan: 1. Click your profile picture → Settings 2. Navigate to Plans & billing → Change plan 3. Select Monthly at the top, then choose your desired Pro plan tier 4. Click Upgrade The Pro plan monthly options are: $800 (50K credits), $1,000 (70K credits), $1,500 (100K credits), or $2,000 (150K credits). Your new credit allotment will be added to your current balance immediately, and you'll get access to Pro features right away.
its not an immediate change on my end and it shows as a downgrade
You're seeing this as a "downgrade" because you're currently on an annual Explorer plan and switching to a monthly Pro plan appears as a downgrade in the system, even though Pro has more features. When you downgrade, changes don't take effect immediately - you keep your current plan features until your next payment due date. Your credits will remain until the end of your current billing cycle, then be capped at 2x the monthly limit of your new plan. Since you want immediate access to Pro features, you'd need to upgrade to an annual Pro plan instead of downgrading to monthly Pro. Only upgrades activate immediately with instant credit allocation and billing cycle reset.

You can purchase credit top-ups to get more credits this billing cycle. To buy credit top-ups: 1. Go to Settings > Plans & billing > Purchase Credits 2. Select the amount needed and click Continue Credit top-ups are added to your balance instantly with no changes to your plan or billing cycle. Note that credit top-ups cost 50% more than the typical cost per credit of your existing plan.

Based on the sources, there are only two main options for getting more credits: 1. Purchase credit top-ups - Buy additional credits directly from Settings > Plans & billing > Purchase Credits. These are added instantly but cost 50% more than your plan's typical cost per credit. 2. Upgrade your plan - Move to a higher tier for ongoing increased usage. This resets your billing cycle and provides new credit allotment instantly. These are the only available methods for obtaining additional credits.
Hello Christopher! Thanks for reaching out! So currently we do no offer credit top ups for annual plans. I can see you were on the monthly Explorer plan and shifted to the yearly one. Although the shift avails a discount of 10%, it prevents credit top ups till renewal date renews the credits. What I can do right now is shift you to a free plan and allow you to shift to the monthly plan. I will try to relieve the credit rollover policy that comes with the monthly plan for a month to allow you to use the additional 542 credits without worry. Does that sound good? However do note your billing cycle and date will change to the date you make this change.
