Issues with HubSpot Lifecycle Stage Updates for Contacts

Hi Everyone, We have run into a little problem. We setup hubspot update columns which would update the Lifecycle stage of contacts based on some criteria. With two lifecycle stages (Longfunnel and Qualified out) the updates run without problems but when it comes to Marketing Qualified Lead lifecycle stage it does not update the contact's lifecycle stage. For example contact is Sales Qualified Lead in HS but needs to be updated to Marketing Qualified lead stage. The system says that the update run but in HS the contact is still on Sales Qualified Lead stage. Any ideas?
