I need someone's help to maximize the number of people per company. I'm getting 3,600 companies from ocean into clay, then using find people at these companies and filtering Founders (1 per company). There will be 3,600. Then find emails using email waterfall with leadmagic&prospeo. However I'll still have a lot of founders without an email address. So is there a good way I could lookup for the companies without a contact and find Co-founder/C-level person? The goal is to reach out the to as many companies as possible out of 3,600 companies on the list with conditions - if founder email not found, find co-founder/c-level exec, if cofounder/c-level exec email not found, find sales directors. p.s. posting here for chatbot reply
Petar R. You can use this to get more people: https://app.findymail.com/docs/#tag/misc/post/api/search/employees but not native in Clay unfortunately
That’s a solid workflow! One way to handle this in Clay is to set up a layered enrichment sequence instead of just one waterfall. For example: Pull founders first → check for email. If no founder email, run a “find people” step for co-founder/C-level → email lookup. If still empty, fall back to Sales/BD titles. That way you’re always backfilling until each company has at least one reachable contact. We’ve helped a few Clay users set up similar multi-tiered flows and even added some light manual QA/enrichment to maximize coverage without burning too many credits. If you’d like, happy to share how we usually structure this. Best, Sourabh – GTM Expert (panopticanalytics.com)
