hello, trying again : What’s the best chance to enrich pro email > linkedin profile > company name with this information (full name only)? How to proceed on Clay to ensure a maximum of response? I started with “LinkedIn profile enrichment” but the results are not that high
To maximize enrichment success with just a full name, follow this sequence: Step 1: Find LinkedIn Profile Use Claygent and Google searches to find the LinkedIn URL based on full name, job title, and company domain if available. Step 2: Use Email Waterfall Once you have the LinkedIn URL, use our "Work Email" waterfall enrichment which combines 10+ providers for maximum coverage. Input the LinkedIn profile URL as your primary data point. Step 3: Company Enrichment Extract company domain from found emails, then use "Enrich Company" to get company name and details. Why LinkedIn enrichment alone isn't optimal: Results are more accurate when you have LinkedIn URLs as "corner pieces" rather than just names. The waterfall approach with LinkedIn URLs as input provides better coverage than standalone LinkedIn profile enrichment. Pro tip: If you can't find LinkedIn URLs initially, try full name + company domain combinations in the email waterfall as fallback.
please detail step 1
Here are the detailed methods to find LinkedIn profiles with just a full name: Method 1: Claygent + Google Search Use Claygent to perform Google searches combining the full name with any additional context you have (job title, company domain, location). Method 2: Find & Enrich Person from Google Search This integration uses Google search to find personal LinkedIn profiles. Input the person's name and company name/URL with a space between them like a normal Google search. You can also use Google search operators like 'intitle:' for more precise results. Method 3: Datagma Integration Use the "Find Social Profile (LinkedIn)" action which retrieves LinkedIn profiles using full name. While email and company domain are optional inputs, they enhance search accuracy. Method 4: Clay's Find People Feature If you have company data, use Actions > "Find People at These Companies" and specify the full name along with company identifiers for better targeting. Pro tip: Results are always more accurate when you have additional context like company domain or job title alongside the full name.
I only have full name
With only a full name, use these methods to find LinkedIn profiles: Method 1: Datagma "Find Social Profile (LinkedIn)" Input the full name - email and company domain are optional but enhance accuracy. Method 2: Champify "Find Professional Profile" Uses full name as primary input to find LinkedIn URLs. Method 3: Clay's LinkedIn Search Template Use our template that finds LinkedIn profiles with full name and company name combinations. Pro tip: Test on 5-10 rows first to gauge match rates before scaling up. Once you have LinkedIn URLs, use our email waterfall enrichment for maximum coverage across 10+ providers.
Hey there Lea thanks for reaching out, sorry for the delay here, to confirm here taking a look at your table, you are starting with both the name and email correct? Or are your trying to find a different email here
I’m starting with first name et last name only for some of them. For others, I have full name + email
Hi Lea, jumping in for LuisArturo here. It’s challenging to accurately find someone’s LinkedIn profile using only their full name, since many people share the same name. Including additional details like company name or email, as you’ve done, greatly improves the chances of finding the correct profile. Looking at your table, there are 148 rows with both email and company name along with the full name. For these, a LinkedIn profile was found for 111 rows - a 75% match rate, which is quite good. For rows where you only have the full name, even if a LinkedIn profile is found, there’s a high chance it may not be the right person. Let me know if you have any further questions :) - Smit
