What could be reason for no new Web Intent Signals since 5 days? I have several tools tracking in parallel and Clay is not catching all the visitors
Several factors could cause Web Intent tracking gaps:
Data Delay: Visitor data can be delayed up to 30 minutes after user activity since we only display completed sessions. [1]
Match Rate Factors: Account matching depends on data quality, IP addresses, and user behavior patterns. Remote work creates more varied IP signals, and non-business traffic can obscure genuine B2B signals. [2]
Tracking Setup: Ensure your tracking snippet is installed on all pages before the closing </body> tag. If using Google Tag Manager, consider direct installation as ad blockers often disable Tag Manager.
Filter Configuration: Check if your geography filters, page exclusions, or minimum thresholds are too restrictive and filtering out legitimate visitors. [3]
Connection Status: Verify your Web Intent connection is enabled in Settings → Web intent. If disabled, Clay stops processing new visitor sessions.
Clay uses multiple providers (Snitcher, Warmly, Demandbase, etc.) in waterfall enrichment to maximize coverage, but no single tool captures 100% of visitors due to varying IP patterns and privacy measures.

Hey Niklas, the reason for the lack of results is that you have already passed your monthly credit limit for this particular signal. Until it resets no new records will come in unless you remove the limit.
