hey, I have a problem with clay saing my "API KEY IS INVALID" even though it says valid when I choose it in the beginning, can anybody help? This is a common OpenAI API key issue. Even though your key shows as valid in the dropdown, the actual API key might be incorrect or outdated.
Here's how to fix it:
1.
Get a fresh API key from OpenAI's platform
2.
Update it in Clay - go to your profile picture → Settings → Connections, find OpenAI, and replace the key
3.
Save and retry the integration [1]
The fact that 1% are running suggests the key worked initially but may have expired or been regenerated. This is why you're seeing mixed results.
If you're still getting errors after updating the key, the yellow warning you might see indicates your OpenAI account has low rate limits - consider upgrading your OpenAI tier for better performance.
