Hello Team, I am curious about the News and Fundraising feature of Clay and I saw that there's a lot of topic that I can filter down to but what I need is to get all News that might be Related to RTO or Office arrangement changes from a List of Companies. Thank you Clay Team!
To filter for RTO/office arrangement news using our News & Fundraising feature:
1. Set up monitoring: Click Actions
→ Monitor for news & fundraising
, select your company table, choose the domain column, and select relevant news topics
2. Filter with Claygent: Use Claygent (our AI research agent) to analyze imported news articles and filter for specific topics like RTO or office arrangement changes
3. Customize the prompt: Update the Claygent prompt to specifically identify news mentions about return-to-office policies, hybrid work arrangements, or office relocations
The News & Fundraising signal costs 6 credits per result. This approach lets you monitor multiple companies simultaneously and automatically filter for your specific use case.
Hi michael, Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?
Hello Gabe E. apologies for the late reply but here's the table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/439944/workbooks/wb_0svuepfnb5qkPGfaek8/tables/t_0szg1af7XAx5BxWC25T/views/gv_0szg1agd7kwMCPGKnwu
What I was trying to do is only get the news that are similar to RTO changes or Office Arrangement changes
Hey Michael! I think the best way to go about this is to utilize the "News Filters" option within the signal and then using a post-processing filter to confirm the news articles are relevant to you before sending elsewhere. This could look like filtering the table based off of variables like keywords in the news titles or using a "Use AI" column to confirm the relevance. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much Hari K. for the advice! I was just curious if there's a better way as 1 record consumes 6 clay credits
Hey Michael! I think the best way to conserve credits here is to set up the signal with manual runs only and limit the # of results that are passed through. Specifically, news signals are limited to filtering based on topics to include, so I would recommend trying to be as focused as possible in your search. Hope this helps!
