Why are the Open AI API keys not working all of a sudden? It is saying "Could not verify the OPENAI API key". I have noticed people have raised this many times in the last 4-5 days. Why is it still not fixed?
The "Could not verify the OPENAI API key" error typically means the API key itself is incorrect or incomplete. Here's what to check:
Get a fresh key: Go to your OpenAI API Keys page and copy the entire key—even one missing character causes this error.
Update in Clay: Paste the complete key into Clay and test again.
Check your tier: If you're using Claygent or certain features, you need Tier 2 or higher (≥450,000 TPM). Free or Tier 1 keys won't work for these. [1]
If you're still seeing the error after updating with a fresh, complete key, click into the specific cell showing the error for more details about what's happening.

Hi Piyush - thanks so much for reaching out. When taking a look at your workspace, I am not currently seeing Open API keys connected. Do you mind reconnecting this and then seeing if you see the verification issue? Happy to take a closer look if you do.
