Clay S. Do you know any tool that can scrape comments/reviews from G2 or Reddit and gets their company names/titles or contact info?
Hi there, thanks for contacting support today! Claygent (AI Web Scraper) can scrape publicly available information from websites, including: • Comments/reviews from websites - Claygent has been used successfully to scrape reviews • Extract contact information - When publicly available on websites, Claygent can find names, titles, emails, and phone numbers • Company information - Can pull company names and other business details from web pages The Challenges For G2: • G2 review pages can be scraped if the information is publicly visible • However, contact information of reviewers is typically not public on G2 - you'd see the reviewer's name and potentially their title/company, but not their email or phone number For Reddit: • Claygent can scrape Reddit threads and comments • Reddit usernames are public, but actual contact information (emails, phone numbers) is not typically available on Reddit profiles • You could get company names/titles if users mention them in their posts or profiles, but this would be inconsistent Clay has 2 Reddit enrichments as well: Can you tell me a bit more about your use case, so that I can give more specific advice? Overall, you can likely use Claygent to scrape the websites for companies, then use enrichments in Clay to enrich those companies and / or find people at those companies. Let me know if this helps, or if you have any more questions!
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else. Feel free to reply here if you do and someone will jump in to help out
To clarify my specific use case: I am targeting negative reviews on G2. While I understand contact info isn't always on the main review page, I have manually verified that when I click on the reviewer's name to visit their User Profile, many of them explicitly list their Company Name and a LinkedIn URL (or a 'Verified LinkedIn' badge). Is there any way I can get that data ?
Got it. Is there a specific reason why? Any details you can share would help. I’ll pass that context along to the product team.
