My formula columns don't seem to update the formula column values for new rows that are written into my table

Hi Nick, your formula is invalid, maybe if you split this in diffrent columns with clearer prompts? also, there is an specyfic feature to merge columns. I notice that the auto update cells is turned off

ignore the verified master one for now

but the column subject lines hasn't created values for the new rows that were just written

how do I get the formula to run and populate valuues for the column on new rows that are written to the table?

This formula is too long and to complex, AI will do a better job

is the problem with the values not populating down to formula complexity? because it seems to be working fine on rows that were native to the table, just not with the new rows written to the table from another table

I think the problem is due to the complexity of the prompt, it should not be a problem if the columns are written from another table

have you tested to see if the same thing occurs with simple formulas? as I remember a while back this was happening on my "company domain" formula column, and I don't remember that being super complex Just wanna know before spending time on restructuring things

Seems that is not a problem of an input coming from another table

I will create a prompt for the AI to do this

OK thanks, I might be hitting my column limit though, can you enable another column so that I can see the prompt in it? as I don't wanna risk overwriting what I already had working

I'm afraid I can't do this... as a workaround you can continue your work wrtiting to another table, as you already did

I'll copy the formula, go ahead with writing the ai prompt for it to replace what's there 👍

I'm afraid AI is not going to fix this, can you try spliting the formulas and the conditionals in different columns? at the end you can merhe all in one column

Sorry for the change of opinion but now I'm realizing that this will be a prompt to complex

that would cost 4 columns though Juan, I don't have the capacity for that

Clay should be working properly now, for the columns you can create a support table with lookups
