How does the "funding amount" work? Is it funding the last 12 months or what? If i select this in "find companies" what does it mean (except for the amount) - does that just mean a specific company got funded recently? (how many months)
The "funding amount" filter in "Find Companies" refers to the most recent amount of money a company raised in its latest funding round, not funding from the last 12 months specifically. When you use this filter, it helps refine search results based on the amount of funding a company has received, allowing you to target companies that have raised specific funding amounts in their most recent round. The filter doesn't specify a particular timeframe like "last 12 months"—it's based on the company's latest funding round whenever that occurred.
Talk to a person
but doesn't that indirectly mean that they raised within (x amount of days)
??
Hey - anyone? 😄
Hey Amir - Thanks so much for reaching out, we're so excited you're using a Funding Amount filter! To answer your question, the funding amount filter refers to the volume of money that a company raised at it's last round, rather than being tied to a timeline. For example, if the company had raised $50M 18 months ago, but $20M 8 months ago, it would fall under the "$10M-$25M" filter. Hope this helps! Happy to answer any other questions you may have! - Hari
Thanks!
But that means that if they got funded only once (let's say $50M) 60 months ago it will fall under the category "50M"
Hi Amir, jumping in for Hari. If that's the case then yes they should fall in the 50M category.
Thx - cleared it up for me
Are there a filter to see recent funding only?
There is no recent funding option during the 'Find Companies' search sorry about that.
