To map and update dropdown fields in Salesforce through Clay:
For Updates:
1. Use the Update Record action in the Enrichment Panel
2. Enter the Record ID of the Salesforce record you want to update
3. Select your Salesforce Object type
4. Map fields from your Clay table to Salesforce object fields, ensuring they match required data types and formats
For Field Mapping:
** Choose between existing fields or custom fields in your CRM
** Ensure field types in Clay match those in Salesforce to avoid errors
** Use the forward slash to reference data columns when specifying fields
Key Settings:
** Set Remove Blank Values to True to avoid overwriting existing data, or False to allow blank values to overwrite
* Configure conditional runs if you only want to update specific records
The dropdown values must match Salesforce's picklist options exactly for successful updates.
