Separating Decision Makers and Job Titles in Clay Table for Email Sequences

·

Hey Team, I need help with the Clay formula. I have a column with decision makers in the format. Decision Maker Full Name + Job Title , Decision Maker 2 + Job Title, Decision Maker 3 + Job Title First I need to separate these into separate these into different columns so I can have: Column 1 (Decision Maker 1 Full Name) Column 2 ( Decision Maker 1 Job Title) Column 3 (Decision Maker 2 Full Name) Column 4 (Decision Maker 2 Job Title) Column 5 (Decision Maker 3 Full Name) Column 6 (Decision Maker 3 Job Title) Then since all these decision makers were for the same company I want to create a new table where I can have a new row for each decision maker. So for example.

  • Row 1 - Column 1 - Company Name (same company) - Column 2 - Decision Maker 1 Full Name) Column 3 ( Decision Maker 1 Job Title)

  • Row 2 - Column 1 - Company Name (same company as above) - Column 2 - Decision Maker 2 Full Name) Column 3 ( Decision Maker 2 Job Title)

... and so on. I would ideally like to basically align all companies with decision makers and have a new row for that. Then do this same process over multiple companies. The goal being to have this list ready so then I can run a waterfall to get the emails and upload it to my email sequences. Could someone please help me? Thank Bo! So yes, this part already worked for me. Sorry I forgot to update you. But now for the next part, how can I paste these columns onto a new table automatically. Where I still keep all the information related to the company in the same row and just pass over the prospect's name and job title?

Hey Bo, Thanks for sharing! This is how I did it. It worked only once but the 2nd time I tried to edit it the 2 other columns I mapped for decision maker and job title disappeared. Also you can see a warning for to add a valid list here. Maybe that is the issue? I can't follow properly. My thinking here was to map the columns: Decision Makers 1 & 2 Full Names on a new column called Decision Makers 1 And same with job title. Please let me know what I did wrong
