Hey Clay Team- I'm trying to add tech stack data to a table that has company domains, but keep getting an "Required Inputs Missing" error. I'm puzzled because the required input is the domain which is available for all records in the table and I have selected. I used Clay to append the domain in the first place.
This error typically occurs when the required field settings in your Prompt Editor aren't properly configured. Here's how to resolve it: 1. Open the Prompt Editor where you're setting up your tech stack enrichment 2. Look for the "Required to Run" toggle next to your domain field 3. Make sure this toggle is enabled for the domain field 4. Save your prompt configurationThis will ensure the enrichment recognizes that the domain field contains the necessary data to run. Is that what you were looking for?
Hmm- How do I open the "Prompt Editor"?
To open the Prompt Editor in Clay: 1. Go to your enrichment panel 2. Look for the "Tools" section 3. Under "AI", select "Use AI" integration 4. This will open the Prompt Editor where you can: • Write your own prompt manually • Use the "Help me" button to generate a prompt automatically • Access pre-written templates for common tasksThe Prompt Editor gives you access to our default AI integrations like OpenAI and Google Gemini, which are great for data cleaning, summarization, and copywriting tasks. Was that helpful?
I am not using the prompt editor, I am simply going to "add enrichment" on top right , clicking enrich company info, and selecting website tech stack
When using any enrichment in Clay, including the website tech stack enrichment, you need to ensure all required configuration fields are properly filled out in the enrichment panel. The error "Required Inputs Missing" indicates that one or more mandatory fields in the Configure section haven't been properly set up.To resolve this: 1. In the enrichment panel, carefully review all fields under the Configure section 2. Make sure all required fields are filled out correctly 3. Double-check that the domain column you've selected contains valid dataIf you continue experiencing issues after verifying these steps, you may want to request human support for further assistance.
