Hey everyone, Is anyone else seeing a big drop-off in finding people at enterprise companies using Apollo and Clay's People search? Been noticing it lately and wondering if it's just on my end or a broader issue. Would appreciate any input!
There's no documented widespread issue with finding people at enterprise companies using Apollo and Clay's People search. If you're seeing "[email_not_unlocked@domain.com](mailto:email%5Fnot%5Funlocked@domain.com)" in your results, this is expected behavior - Apollo now requires users to extract emails using "Enrich Person from Apollo" after finding people. For best results with Apollo in Clay: 1. Use "Find People at Company By Job Title" to identify contacts 2. Use "write each item to new row in other table" to extract results 3. Then use "Enrich Person From Apollo" to get complete contact details including emails

I’m experiencing the same. Most notably I’m experiencing that the People Search natively isn’t up to date. Have reached out to multiple people getting a message back: “I’m not working there anymore”, while they left already 5 months ago. Downside is, the other enrichments are costly..
Hey Bhanu, thanks for reaching out and flagging this for us! Your feedback is super valuable. A few questions here so we can get to the bottom of this: 1. Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?

2. Do the Apollo or Clay results look more accurate to you? For context, we've heard from other customers that while Apollo shows higher counts, they include people who have left their positions, whereas Clay appears to be more accurate.
Frank, if you could share table links and more context for your results too that would be greatly appreciated.
My main issue with the native Find People function is: It’s just not up to date. I’m based in The Netherlands and looking for Dutch leads. It looks like the latest DB refresh was in January this year based on leads I’m finding.
Secondly, another question I had is: When creating a waterfall, it looks like each look up costs 1 credit. Where-as just using the Find People function and writing it to a People table is free, is that correct?
Thanks for the context Frank - can you clarify where you are seeing the latest DB refresh was in January? I just checked your enrich company column in the table you shared and see the last refresh date field has dates in the past month.

The find people table source is free whereas the find contacts at company enrichment does cost credits
I have seen multiple results of people that are found using the Find People At These Companies - that according to Clay, are still at their function but then when you look at their actual LinkedIn profile, they switched jobs around Jan/Feb
