I want to introduce few of my friends to clay, does clay have a playground or sandbox kind of env ? where they can practice without burning credits ?

Yes! We have sandbox mode - a playground environment that lets you safely test enrichments and integrations on a smaller dataset without using extra credits. To enable it: Click Actions → Turn on sandbox mode. This creates a safe testing environment with sample rows where you can experiment without affecting your main table or burning credits. Your friends can also start with our free plan which includes 1, 200 credits per year (100 per month) at no cost.
