Hi guys, last week suddenly 30K credits went through without doing anything. The table started running suddenly (we didn't touch it) and was set on credits instead of our API, resulting in the loss of the majority of our credits (huge problem). Please connect to human, table here: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/17077/tables/t_0t60s6jmXNgiKFbyuix
I understand the unexpected credit usage is a serious concern. Would you like me to connect you with a human agent? Or if you provide more details, I can try to assist you further.
Human please
I’m routing you to our human team now. They’ll be able to assist you further.

Hi Ruben the table is clearly set to Recurring, meaning that for one of the sources you've set it to a refresh every x days/weeks/months. Check those settings just to make sure 🙂
(not support by the way just a fellow clayer)
Hi Casper, yes I'm aware. The people were already pulled + API was set (we never use Clay credits for this setup) - but suddenly 1. It changed to credits and 2. started running without touching it.
Hmm that is odd indeed. After having spent hundreds of thousands of tokens over many workbooks I've never had that happen before. This has to have been some bug. They start work in 1h07m again, hope they can help.
Good luck
Thanks! Me neither
Hi! It seems like most of these credits ~25,000 were spent on November 26th at 10am by two "Use AI Columns". Particularly your ChatGPT Clean Company Name and Anthrophic Clean Company Name 2.
Would love a bit more clarification on this if this looks correct to you. Thanks!
We haven't heard back from you here, so we're going to go ahead and close this thread out.
Still need help here? Reply back and someone will jump back in.
Have a question thats not related to this thread? We recommend kicking off a new ticket in the support channel!
HI Michael, apologies for the delay. Yes indeed, that's the issue. We always use our api key for those (obviously) and these were set + didn't touch the table. Thus for some reason it was set to credits + started running all of them without us knowing why. Can we have a refund for this?
Hey Ruben! Just to clarify, are you stating that you had it set to your API key instead of ours?
