I recently changed companies and lost access to my Clay account because my previous email address was deactivated. I am currently trying to create a new account using my new company email address, but it has been flagged for fraud. Any way to navigate this? Already emailed verification@clay.com
Since you've already contacted verification@clay.com, that's the correct step for fraud flag issues. While waiting for their response, note that if you created a new account with your new email before updating your original account, we'll need to delete the duplicate account first. For future reference, when changing companies, it's better to update your existing account's email address rather than creating a new one to avoid fraud detection issues. Our Terms of Service require maintaining accurate account information, and we may not be able to restore access if you lose access to your registered email. If you need further help beyond the verification team's response, request human assistance by clicking "Talk to a person."
