How come sorting a number columns does not really work for sorting?
Number column sorting issues are typically caused by incorrect data type settings. To fix this: 1. Right-click the column you want to sort 2. Click Edit Column > Select Data Type 3. Choose Number as the data type 4. Click Save Settings Once the column is properly set as a Number data type, sorting will work correctly (0→9 or 9→0). If the column contains mixed text and numbers, ensure all values are purely numerical for proper sorting.
It's already a number as the image shows
Hi Samuel, thank you for reaching out! It's happening because you have two sorts applied at the same time and the first one in getting prioritized. How Multiple Sorts Work Primary → Secondary → Tertiary sorting: ** First sort is the primary sort - this takes highest priority ** Second sort is the secondary sort - this only applies when values in the first column are identical ** If you have a third sort, it only applies when both the first and second columns have identical values Example with Two Number Sorts: Let's say you have: 1. Sort 1: Revenue (0→9) 2. Sort 2: Employee Count (9→0) The table will: 1. First sort all rows by Revenue from lowest to highest 2. *Then for rows that have the exact same Revenue value, sort those by Employee Count from highest to lowest 3. All other rows maintain their Revenue-based order
