I’ve been trying to stop updates from a table for hours, but it’s still running. Can you fix this? It happens often and ends up consuming a lot of API credits

To stop running updates, click the "Stop Updates" button at the bottom right of your screen. A pop-up will appear—select "Confirm and stop" to halt the enrichment.
To prevent this from happening again:
Turn off auto-update at the table level: Click the table name (top-left) and select "Disable auto-update" [1]
Turn off auto-update for specific columns: Click the column header → Edit Column → Run Settings → toggle off "Auto-Update"
This will prevent enrichments from running automatically when rows are added or edited, helping you conserve credits.

Hey Sergio P., Yes, you can fix this! When a Clay table keeps updating even after you click Stop updates it usually means one or more columns are stuck in an enrichment loop or API tasks are still queued on the backend to stop it completely. Go to the top right of your table and click the three dots select Pause all enrichments then go to your Workspace Settings Activity tab and cancel any running enrichments from there this stops background API calls immediately
