I see this
🕰 Hey hey! The Clay team is currently on Holiday so we’ll be a bit slower to respond than normal. We’ll do our best to get back to you within the 24-48 hours but may need some extra time here. If your request is urgent, please slack @Matthew Quan (Clay) directly.
Depending on how much information you have in your sheet, more values and settings should pop up as you add information, if they don't you can then click the "refresh fields" button just below where you connect your account.
We know there are a few videos that are outdated and we'll try to catch them up to the latest UI versions soon. To elaborate the steps:
Connect your account via google auth, your email should appear connected in the field after it's successful.
Ensure your google sheets file has edit access enabled with that gmail account.
Paste the sheet's URL.
Select the sheet you want to work with.
It will try to look up first, so if you have no data at all (even no column headers) it may not show any other options until it's refreshed.
Once the lookup value is selected, toggle the add and update options so you can continue mapping your Clay columns.
This doc should help too: https://docs.clay.com/enrichments-and-providers/exporting-data/databases/google-sheets
Hi Varun - thanks for responding
But, and I am sorry if I am being dumb about this, this seems to be referring to a thing/app called Loxo
Ohh, yep. Bit of confusion there but there should be a doc page about google sheets there if you use the search bar. Let me know if the steps above helped though, that’s pretty much what’s needed and what happens
I found the page - but it is either out of date or not very helpful
Got it. I’ll try to make a loom if it helps a bit more. Are you still having issues setting it up or is it something else?
Matthew Q. can we update this doc when you’re back?
