can you help me understand what does it mean when I have a source of data marked of "No data yet" ? I've been trying to import companies several times in the last 4h and it seems it is not working
"No data yet" means your Find Companies source hasn't successfully imported any data into your table yet. [1]
A few things could be causing this:
Missing required columns - To add a Find Companies source, you need the right columns set up first (like Company Domains or LinkedIn URLs). [2]
Input data issues - Check if your source has valid company identifiers like domain names or company URLs. Missing or invalid domains can prevent the import from working.
Table limits - Clay tables have a 50,000-row limit, and imports stop automatically when hit. [3]
Before we dig deeper, try using Sculptor (the AI tool in the top-right corner) to help set up your company import properly. It's free and can quickly identify what might be missing.

Since you've ruled out the common causes, this might be a source processing issue. When Find Companies sources show "No data yet," it often means the source hasn't actually run yet, even if it appears configured. [1]
Try this: delete the current Find Companies source and re-add it completely. Sometimes sources get stuck in a pending state and need to be recreated to actually execute. [2]
Also, check if you accidentally changed any source filters after creating it - Clay doesn't reprocess data automatically when filters change, so the source would need to be re-run. [3]
If recreating the source doesn't work, you might need to speak with a human agent to investigate what's preventing the source from executing properly.
