Hey, I was using builtwith in order to find a specific technology, none of my results returned anything yet I have been charged over 3k credits
I understand that's frustrating. Different providers have different refund policies. Some charge just for attempting to find data, even when nothing is returned.
BuiltWith isn't on our list of providers that automatically refund for unsuccessful results. [1] This means those 3k credits were charged because the provider charged us for the API calls, even though no technology data was found.
If you believe the provider should have refunded us for invalid data, click "Talk to a person" and our team can investigate whether a refund is possible in your specific case. [2]
Is that what you were looking for?

Hi Jacob - thanks so much for reaching out. I see that the BuiltWith column has now been deleted from your table, so I am unable to dive deeper into what happened. For context, BuiltWith charges 2 credits per enrichment regardless of whether results are found or not. The charge is for running the enrichment itself.
Hope that clears things up for you.
