Hey there, Im trying to push values from Clay into custom objects in Outreach.io (http://Outreach.io), but theyre not showing up. does anyone know if there's a lag between the two? Unsure if I just have to wait, or if Im doing something wrong.

For Outreach integrations, we recommend reserving specific Prospect custom fields (e.g. custom10 to custom15) for Clay usage to avoid conflicts with other custom field data. You'll need to manually map your messages to these custom fields. [1]
When Clay syncs with CRMs, enrichments typically appear within seconds of being triggered. [2] If your values aren't showing up, check that you've properly mapped the Clay data to the correct custom fields in Outreach and that those fields are designated for Clay usage.
If you need further help troubleshooting the specific mapping, just ask to speak to a human.

no, it wasnt. I tried pushing the data in 3 times, but its still now there. On the clay side, it says it successfully updated the prospect / the respective custom objects. When i check on outreach for the contact, the values arent showing up

Clay doesn’t support pushing data directly into Outreach custom objects it only syncs to standard fields, so that’s why your values aren’t appearing.

Hey Hasnain, thank you. Do you know if they have documentation on it? Asking as I was following along with this vid from Clay's course and it shows them using the custom objects as mappable fields

You should be able to push to custom fields in a prospect object, if I’m not mistaken. However, we currently don’t support custom objects. Could you share which video you were watching? That will help me confirm we're on the same page about what functionality you're looking to use.

Hey Michael, thank you. Yes, I am using the custom fields in a prospect object, used the wrong language. The video i am watching was shared in the Clay 101 course. Uplimit > view details > Lesson 4 > email sequences > the vid on Outreach.io

ahh i figured it out! it was user error. Another qq, it put the email as text, so it took out all of the spacing. is there a way to get it into outreach while preserving the spacing?
