hey looking to get some help. Got 2 Clay tables that should be working together but aren't: Table 1: my Accounts table Table 2: Find People table They're connected via LinkedIn page URLs, so the Find People table should pull prospects from those companies. But it's just... not working. The weird part: Today I'm only filtering for Colombia (which worked perfectly before), but now I'm getting nothing. When I manually check those same LinkedIn company pages, I can see 20-30 prospects sitting right there. Something broke and I have no idea what. Can you help me figure out what's going wrong? Please Here are the links: Table 1: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/451915/workbooks/wb_0sxatjk4wHTzg9Rqipk/tables/t_0sztf3hXYYdDduvAiPT/views/gv_0sztf3iEDmfZvRQriaz Table 2: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/451915/workbooks/wb_0sxatjk4wHTzg9Rqipk/tables/t_0szth4zQKdk3UsNc3fY/views/gv_0szth50kv9grnmXAjto
When your Find People table stops returning results despite having LinkedIn company URLs, this is typically because Clay doesn't automatically reprocess data when you change filters. To fix this: 1. Re-run the Find People step - Delete and re-run the step that generated the data, or duplicate the table with updated filters 2. Verify your setup - Ensure your Find People action is properly configured: • Table reference points to your Accounts table • Company identifier uses LinkedIn URLs (not domains) • Search parameters match your Colombia filter 3. Check the connection - Make sure your Accounts table has valid LinkedIn company URLs in the correct format The key issue is that editing filters after a table has run won't retroactively update results - you need to manually re-run the process to see updated data.
i tried the re-run step, still get 1 result. I manually re-run the process to see updated data and still doesnt work.
If you deleted records from your Find People table previously, you won't be able to re-import them to the same table - you'll need to create a new Find People search from scratch. Also check if you have search limits applied per company. If there's a limit (like 3 people per company), this could explain why you're only getting 1 result despite seeing 20-30 prospects manually. The preview might show more results, but the final import reflects these limits. Try creating a completely new Find People table and check your search filter settings for any applied restrictions.
I dont have a limit on my search
Hi there, I'm taking a closer look now.
I'm seeing that the manual runs you triggered earlier today pulled from the "Athena AG - Europe" table which seems to be a different company table than what you linked (Accounts - CSV Import). To confirm I'm understanding, you want this linked People table to pull regular new leads from the attached company table? The first issue I'm seeing is that this company table is a static CSV import. Without it adding new inputs for Find People, it is possible you've exhausted this people search given the variables. Please let me know what I'm missing and how else I can help here! Gabe
sorry was off. Yes that's correct from the Accounts - CSV Import table. I was already running this for 200 other companeis and it worked well so not sure why it stopped working for the new 1k accounts I've added yesterday
Hey there Elric thanks for reaching out, jumping in for Gabriel here, quick question did you delete any people from this table at any point?
hey Gabriel
yes I did
Hey Elric! Thanks for reaching out. There is a possibility that these results that populate in the preview were part of the rows you deleted/. When we delete rows from a table, they are still stored in the source. Hence re running the search will not pull in that data as it is considered a duplicate. Does this make sense?
