Hi Clay Support, After creating a “Find Jobs” source and a table to integrate the results, I added a Clay AI Agent column to enrich the data by finding the LinkedIn link of the company. Later, I created another table to export the data from the first one, but surprisingly, it refuses to export the Clay AI Agent column — or even just the results from that column. Is this behavior normal? If not, how can I fix it? Thanks in advance for your help.
This is a known issue with AI-enhanced columns during exports. Some AI-generated fields may not export properly, leading to missing data in your destination table.
To fix this, create a dedicated export column before transferring data. Manually create a separate column for your AI-generated LinkedIn links to ensure the full data is accessible.
When using "write to table", you can also optimize by duplicating your current table view and removing unnecessary columns, including only the essential data fields for a clean transfer. [1]

How to manually create a separate column for the AI-generated LinkedIn links ?
To manually create a separate column for your AI-generated LinkedIn links:
Method 1: Extract from existing AI column
Click on a cell in your AI Agent column containing LinkedIn data [1]
In the Cell details panel, hover over the LinkedIn link field
Click "Add as column" to extract that specific value into a new column
Method 2: Create new column with formula
Add a new column and select "Use AI" [2]
Choose "Content creation, manipulation" as your use case
Write a prompt to extract the LinkedIn URL from your existing AI column
Set the output field as "URL" data type
This creates a dedicated column that should export properly without the issues you experienced with the original AI Agent column.

Okey thanks for the tip, now that I have already created my destination table, is it possible to simply add the column from the previous table ? Or I'll have to re-do the entire table from scratch?
You don't need to redo the entire table. You can add the column from your previous table using the "write to table" feature. [1]
Go to your source table, click "Add Enrichment", search for "Write to Other Table", then:
Select your existing destination table
Enter "/" to skip list selection
Map the specific column you want to copy to your destination table [2]
Alternatively, use "Send table data" from the Actions menu to transfer specific columns between tables. [3]
Did that answer your question?
Does that use up credits?
No, using "write to table" to transfer data between existing tables doesn't use credits. [1] Data cleaning, formatting, and moving data between tables are free actions in Clay. [2] Credits are only consumed for data enrichment actions like finding contact information or retrieving external data. [3]
