If I have a bunch of txt files can I have clay analyze them in bulk like an airtable?
Yes, you can analyze multiple text files in bulk using Clay's CSV import feature. You'll need to first convert your TXT files to CSV format, then import them into Clay where you can map and analyze your data. This allows you to combine legacy data with real-time information and create comprehensive datasets from multiple sources.
Not sure you can turn a text file into a CSV
You can use the Clay Chrome Extension to analyze multiple text files. The extension can extract structured data from webpages and files, allowing you to: 1. Extract data from your text files when viewed in a browser 2. Organize the extracted data into a structured table format 3. Export this data directly to your Clay workspace The extension automatically detects list-like structures and can also work with custom recipes for specific data extraction needs. For larger datasets, Clay's Bulk API supports processing large amounts of data efficiently.
There is no clay chrome extension
Hey, Not at the moment—Clay doesn’t support bulk uploading and analyzing .txt files. However, if you convert them to PDFs and host them on public URLs (or public drive) you can use Claygent to analyze the content. We’re also working on improving file support soon. Let me know if you have more questions.
