Hi team, I've started using clay and am trying to enrich my accounts list via HG Insights. I'm getting a runtime error and have made sure to use the right API key. Can anyone help out here?
If you're encountering a runtime error with HG Insights enrichment in Clay, there could be a few reasons for this: 1. API key permissions: Ensure your HG Insights API key has the necessary permissions for the enrichment action you're trying to perform. 2. Integration setup: Double-check that you've correctly set up the HG Insights integration within Clay's enrichment panel. 3. Input data: Verify that you're providing the correct input for the enrichment action, such as a valid domain URL or HG Insights company ID. If the issue persists, you may want to review your Clay API key settings. You can find this in your profile settings under the API Key section. How do I know I've correctly setup the HG Insights and Clay integration?
To verify your HG Insights and Clay integration: 1. Try the "Find companies by tech stack" source: • In a workbook, click "+ Add" and search for HG Insights. • Enter a technology in the "Products" field (e.g., "Bill.com"). • Run the source and check if it returns results. 2. Test the "Get company tech stack" action: • Add an enrichment to your table. • Select the HG Insights "Enrich company" action. • Choose a column with domain names or HG Insights company IDs. • Enter technologies in the "Products" field. • Run the action and verify the enriched data. If both steps work, your integration is set up correctly. For more detailed walkthroughs, check our Claybooks.
