Advice Needed on Career Transition in B2B SaaS SDR Role
Hey everyone 👋 I’d really appreciate some honest advice / real-world feedback from people who’ve been there. Quick context: I’m currently Head of SDR at a B2B SaaS, and I’m seriously thinking about my next step. I’m hesitating between three options: 1️⃣ Going freelance / starting a small GTM outbound agency this year (alongside a clean exit from my current role) 2️⃣ Moving into a GTM Engineer role as an employee to deepen my hands-on experience before going independent 3️⃣ Staying longer in a leadership role (Head of SDR) while building GTM skills, even if it means delaying independence For those who’ve made a similar transition (or seen both sides):
