Volunteer Opportunities for Aspiring GTM Engineers: Need Advice

Hi everyone, Since it is hard to a newbie to find a job as GTM engineer, because the lack of real world experience, i though about volunteer with experts for 5-10 a week to work with them on real project especially with outreach campaigns. But, actually i am not sure if it is a good idea, what do you all think ?

I did that when I started my Clay journey. Choose the person/company wisely. If you perform well, try to get a paid gig or at least a testimonial. I believe it is a good idea to commit to at least 3-6 months for one project.
