What are the most important technical skill that are looked for in a GTME when being hired in companies or agencies? What do these people want to see from a GTME?
Great question! And one that doesn't have an easy answer. Sharing a post of ours that should be helpful and also tagging a few of our solutions partners and community champions who can offer hard-won insights: Petra H. Willy H. Andreas W. Marina H.
I think it's problem solving... Given X limitation in [insert tool], who would you go about solving for Y? e.g. Giving the looping limitation inside of columns within clay, how would you go about solving for a many-to-one problem inside of a table? The reason is this gives you the liberty of answering in a million different ways. If you're able to say, well, if I had that limitation, then what I would do is open Cursor, vibe code the many news articles, right? Synthesize them into one and then send it back to Clay via MCP. That shows to me great technical acumen.
Someone else might answer differently but still showcase technical aptitude.
so an actual engineer may have a different answer
Damn, this sounds interesting.
