I would really appreciate it if we could port over Source templates fully while copying a template. Ex: I have two "find people" operations that get overlapping results, the exclude function works well but not after duplicating the template even if all of the tables in the duplicate workbook have identical names. It is primarily frustrating because you can't save the exclude functionality without inputting companies first (in this specific scenario at least)
We don't currently have a feature that allows for fully porting over Source templates, including preserving the exclude functionality, when copying a template. Our template copying process doesn't maintain all settings and configurations from the original template, particularly for complex operations like excluding overlapping results. To work around this limitation, you might need to manually reconfigure the exclude functionality in your copied template. This involves setting up the "find people" operations and then re-applying the exclude function with the necessary inputs. Can you provide more details about your specific use case? This will help me suggest the most efficient way to set up your copied template with the desired functionality.
