Managing Duplicate Contacts in HubSpot: Tips and Best Practices

Any resources around managing duplicate contacts in Hubspot? For context, we currently create a new contact when they move to a new company rather than overwriting email/phone number from existing. Thus the "old" contact still exists with the same LinkedIn URL as the "new" contact - they are the same person but have different job titles/companies. I find linkedin url is a great unique identifier to use with update object/create object if url doesn't already exist but this doesn't work when they move jobs
