Goal: identify ASX-listed small-cap companies (market cap under $500M) that have recently made announcements or are scheduled to appear at events where an investor presentation is likely. Question: Any idea how to create signals in Clay for:
https://www.asx.com.au/markets/trade-our-cash-market/todays-announcements — if a Company just announce investor presentation / AGM notice / quarterly update / results
Hey Devin, I'm not super familiar with ASX But I was thinking there are two ways you can go about it:
Not sure if ASX has a RSS Feed dedicated to news like this? I assume it might also be a paid thing. You can add the RSS feed into Clay, and monitor it for new annoucements.
You could also create a Google Alert (Using the Google Alert Web App) that monitors for various topics like the ones you mentioned, and generate a new RSS Feed for that.
thanks for the insights! is this something that can help with the RSS Feed?
Hey Devin , I did a quick look into both. It seems like the first one is more of an RSS feed for news about ASX and not companies related The second one seems to be about tracking news regarding one single stock. Do you have a list of companies you want to track? Or it’s more about just getting a list of companies that announced those things you mentioned?
we do have the list of companies — does this make things easier?
Devin Yes it does! If you do have a list of companies, you could do the following
Import the list of companies into a Clay table such as company name, company website, etc
Create a few ‘Google search’ columns that checks for different things (Investor Presentation, quarterly updates, etc)
Once the column returns you something, have AI check and confirm it’s actually what you need
Schedule those columns to run every month or quarter etc Those are my initial thoughts, and I’m sure there are some nuances though.
