Issues with Find Companies Function Producing Inaccurate Data

Hey team ! Are you sometimes getting poor data using the "Find Companies" function ? Like for instance, I wanted a list of all companies with 5k+ employees in France. Clay gives me 2.4k. Most of them aren't legit. Whereas Sales Navigator only shows 300.

Clay seems to be using the range people select on their profile whereas Sales Nav uses the real number of people. So this data seems highly irrelevant for me, curious to see how others are finding the right companies based on the number of employees.

Chatted with a friend this morning and he mentioned he never uses the Clay data and prefers relying on Sales Navigator that he integrates through Apify. Not as simple as just clicking buttons in Clay but at least we get good data ? ๐Ÿ˜

Apify will connect to LinkedIn Sales Nav so yeah I think you should be able to achieve what you want

Hi Pierre L. its better to use Sales Nav to build the list and push it to Clay. Feel free to reach out if you need any help

Hey Sourabh, Can you confirm this only works for people ? Not companies ? So pulling directly from Sales Nav (through an external list) would only work if starting from a people search directly in Sales Nav ?
