Clay S. we absolutely need this.... "send table data" works different each has it value and btw, i remember seeing the "depreciated" months ago - then it was back - now it's again depreciated What's the status on this feature? i can elaborate as to why it's useful
Hey,
Can you clarify what you mean by “each has its value”? Write to Other Table and Send Table Data are expected to work the same at this point. We aligned them intentionally so the behavior is consistent.
If you’re seeing a difference in how they run or the output you’re getting, I’m happy to take a look and figure out what’s off. If you can share a concrete example of where they behave differently for you, that’ll help narrow it down.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Hey bo, for example, if a table hits its maximum source limit of 20, I know that is a lot but it is still a hard limit. This is where writing to another table helps because it can silently add data without consuming a new source, so it is definitely worth it. Jumping in here because I still have a lot of flows where I am using write to another table. Can you please share what will happen to those? Do i need to update them?
Hey,
I see this. I’ll flag the 20-source limit case to the team.
For anything you’re already running with Write to another table, those flows will continue to work as they are. You don’t need to update or change existing setups. There’s no impact to current workflows using that pattern.
Let me know if you have more questions.
One thing I’m curious about is the need to go beyond the 20-source limit on a single table. Can you share a bit more about your use case and what you’re trying to accomplish with that setup?
write to other table is so much better so i can map columns easily ❤️, the send data is a lot less clear imo
Hey, we actually added the option to map the column. Have you tried it yet?
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else. Feel free to reply here if you do and someone will jump in to help out
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to close things out here.
