Alright guys, best way to determine # of developers @ a given company?
You can determine the number of developers at a company using our "Find Employee Headcount by Criteria" feature. Simply provide the company information (domain, LinkedIn URL, name, or ticker) and specify "developer" or related job titles in the role filter. Alternatively, use the "Find Employees at Company" feature by entering the company name/website and "Developer" (or specific developer titles) in the job titles field.
I use Apollo's "Enrich Company". It can give headcount for each department - Get the engineering headcount and then take 60% of that number to get a rough estimate of the number of developers
You can estimate developer numbers in Clay using two approaches: 1. Use "Find Employee Headcount by Criteria" to directly search for developer roles at a company by providing the company information and specifying "developer" in the role filter. 2. Use "Employee Count by Department" with Apollo.io integration to get engineering department headcount, then apply your 60% estimation method to calculate developer numbers. Both methods help you determine developer counts at target companies.
