Hey all, does anyone here have experience with finding ISOs and ISVs, scraping them and importing them into Clay for enrichment?
Hey there Bruce thanks for reaching out, I'll let others chip in here as this is uncharted territory for me. The first workaround I can think of using with Clay would be to try to compile a list of 4 or 5 companies that would fit the description of an ISO or ISV and then using our "Find company lookalikes with Ocean.io" to find additional companies that would be similar to the ones you have already found. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1258503327/1646f908022b3b25b1c13eaf008a/image.png?expires=1732065300&signature=23ec55942425a536cf1f52c0b7277ef5deebd7d46309e5d4357d25de47375ea0&req=dSIiHsx%2BnoJdXvMW1HO4zRJEfNqYIbtV2sTgJw%2FxvZqSCVlJ6AkIdTe3lMB5%0A5%2F7s%0A
Great idea, will try. Thanks Luis
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else! Feel free to reply back here if you do.
Nope that is all thanks Clay
Hey LuisArturo I was wondering which gives better results, the native Lookalike companies feature within Clay or other integrations like Ocean.io?
Hey Bruce! Thanks for asking about lookalike companies - let me break this down in a simple way. There's a pretty big difference between the two options: 1. Clay's native lookalike feature is more straightforward - it looks at basic stuff like keywords, terms, and locations in a database to find similar companies. It's included with your subscription and gets the job done for basic matching. 2. Ocean.IO is definitely more sophisticated - they've built this really smart model that digs deeper. It analyzes everything from websites to social media and tons of other data points to find truly similar companies. That's why it comes with an extra cost, but you get what you pay for with more accurate matches. Both work, but Ocean.IO will generally give you better results if you're looking for really precise matching and don't mind the additional investment.
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
Got it, thank you Bo!
