Hey there Bruce thanks for reaching out, I'll let others chip in here as this is uncharted territory for me. Clay's native lookalike feature is more straightforward - it looks at basic stuff like keywords, terms, and locations in a database to find similar companies. It's included with your subscription and gets the job done for basic matching. 2. Ocean.IO is definitely more sophisticated - they've built this really smart model that digs deeper. It analyzes everything from websites to social media and tons of other data points to find truly similar companies. That's why it comes with an extra cost, but you get what you pay for with more accurate matches. Both work, but Ocean.IO will generally give you better results if you're looking for really precise matching and don't mind the additional investment.
