Hey everyone! I am deciding between Apollo and Clay right now and was wondering what the opinion here is? We are using Attio so those systems should be able to talk to each other, - How solid is Clay’s API? (tbh, so far didn't find the usual API docs) - Does it play well with n8n via HTTP to not just trigger enriching but also get the enriched data out? - Any official API docs or examples out there? - How good is the enrichment for the DACH market?
Clay doesn't offer direct API endpoints, but provides API-like functionality through webhooks and HTTP API integration. You can send data to Clay via webhooks, process it within Clay, then use HTTP API to push enriched data back to other systems like n8n. This workflow has been successfully used with n8n - for example, Coverflex built an automated system using Clay for enrichment, n8n for workflow automation, and seamlessly integrated them. For documentation, check: ** Webhooks guide: https://docs.clay.com/en/articles/9730014-import-data-to-clay-using-webhooks ** HTTP API guide: https://docs.clay.com/en/articles/9672489-http-api-with-clay
Hey, Great questions—and yep, Clay works well with Attio and n8n. ** API: Clay doesn’t have a traditional REST API, but it offers a reliable webhook to send data into Clay, and an HTTP API action to push data out. ** n8n compatibility: Works well—many users trigger enrichments and push results using n8n via HTTP. ** API docs: We don’t have standard API docs, but Clay University covers how to use webhooks and HTTP actions effectively. ** DACH enrichment: Coverage is great! We recommend giving it a try. Many users in the region have seen strong results Let me know if you want help testing it out.
