I am playing around with "Find professional posts" and using keywords to pull people who are talking about key topics, but there doesnt appear to be any way to narrow it down geographically, so my market is the UK, so posts in Aus are not really relevant or worth the credits. Has anyone found a way around this?
Currently, there's no direct geographic filter for "Find professional posts" in Clay. As a workaround, you can: 1. Use the "Location" filter in the "Find People" feature to first create a list of UK-based professionals. 2. Then use these profiles as inputs for the "Find Recent Posts" feature. Alternatively, segment your search into smaller geographic chunks to manage results more effectively.
is there a limit on how many personal urls I use? and do I also need to put in the corresponding company urls?
There's no specified limit on how many personal LinkedIn URLs you can use in Clay. For best results, you should include both personal LinkedIn URLs and company information. The "corner pieces" for people data are personal LinkedIn Profile URL and Full Name, while for company data, you need Company Domain and Company LinkedIn Profile URL.
its telling me max 5
Some Clay actions may have a limit of 5 URLs for specific inputs. While there's no general limit on LinkedIn URLs you can use in Clay, individual features might have their own restrictions. For best results, include both personal LinkedIn URLs and company information. The essential "corner pieces" for people data are personal LinkedIn Profile URL and Full Name, while for company data, you need Company Domain and Company LinkedIn Profile URL.
im trying to build a custom signal of monitor professional posts using keywords. firstly, i do get some results which dont mention my keywords, but more specifically here I was wondering how you add further filters such as country etc, so thats im really monitoring the chatter in my specific target markets and not just all over linkedi
Hey, Youâre rightââFind Professional Postsâ doesnât currently support geographic filters like country or region. Thatâs why youâre seeing posts from places like Australia even if your target is the UK. One workaround is to add a filter after pulling the data by enriching the person or company to get their location, then filtering by country. You can also enrich with Enrich Person to check location fields and use that to filter posts more precisely. Let me know if you want help setting that up.
