Guidance Needed for Building Accurate Company List in Georgia

Can anyone help with my first list build? I want to buid a list of companies in Georgia with more than 1K employees. Every time I build the list though it comes back with companies who might be in Georgia, but most of their employees are overseas. That's probelem #1. Problem #2 is I am trying to reach people in charge of physical security at those companies. every time I look at the list of contacts, I know I'm missing people becuase I can see the right contacts on linkedin but they don;t show up on my table. Any guidance apprecaited.

Here's how to build your targeted list: 1. Start in the Find Companies modal: • Set location filter to Georgia • Set headcount range to 1000+ employees 2. To ensure employees are primarily in Georgia: • Use the location exclusion filter to remove companies with significant overseas presence • Preview company profiles regularly to verify alignment with your requirements 3. To find physical security contacts: • Use the Find Employees at Company feature with relevant job title keywords like: • "Physical Security Manager" • "Security Director" • "Corporate Security" • "Facilities Security" 4. For better results: • Search up to 6 different security-related job titles • Optionally specify Georgia as the employee location to focus on local security personnel • You can retrieve up to 10 matching contacts per companyKeep iterating and adjusting your filters if the initial results don't match your expectations. You may need to broaden or narrow your search criteria to get the most accurate list. if linkedin is looking more reliable - build a lead list on Sales Navigator and use the import from external source option in the clay find people table?

Yes, you can import your Sales Navigator search results into Clay. Here's how: 1. Set up your desired search filters in Sales Navigator (don't save it as a list, just perform the search) 2. Copy the search URL from your browser 3. In Clay, create a "Find People" table and select "External List" in the Method category 4. Paste your Sales Navigator URL in the Query section 5. Click the blue "Import" button to start the import processNote that imports can take anywhere from a few minutes to 30+ minutes. You can import up to 2,500 results per Sales Navigator source, and each imported result costs 1 Clay credit.If you need more than 2,500 results, consider splitting your search using filters like headcount numbers, seniority levels, or location, and import them separately.

yeah clay's native database can be tricky sometimes this is the option i was suggesting
