Triggering Leads from Clay to Sales Navigator InMails

You can't push leads directly from Clay to Sales Navigator InMails. Clay lets you enrich and organize Company and People data using SalesNavigator, but sending InMails isn't supported as an automated action. If you want to automate outreach, you can push leads to supported email sequencers or use the HTTP API to connect with other tools that allow messaging, but direct InMail sending isn't available. Build your enriched list in Clay, export as CSV with LinkedIn profile URLs or company domains, upload as a matched audience in LinkedIn Campaign Manager, then run Conversation Ads (their DM ad format). Not 1:1 InMails, but you're hitting the same inbox with targeted messaging at scale. Plus you get LinkedIn's reporting vs blind InMail sends. Main trade-off: ad spend vs InMail credits. But if you're doing volume, often cheaper per-touch anyway.

You can automate sending targeted messages at scale using Clay by integrating with tools like HeyReach or La Growth Machine. These let you push enriched Company and People data from Clay into outbound campaigns, where you can automate personalized messaging sequences. For DM ads, you can export your enriched list from Clay and upload it as a matched audience in your ad platform, then run Conversation Ads to reach inboxes at scale.
