Hi team, i am trying to use Clay to find person for a company using domain and city? I am getting the option to use the enrichment Find person only using domain, no location level filtering allowed at row level, can someone guide me on this?
You can filter by location when using Clay's Find People feature. The location filter accepts cities or countries as input. When setting up Find People, you'll see location as one of the available filter options where you can include or exclude specific regions, countries, or cities. Make sure you're using the Find People source/action rather than an enrichment - the Find People feature has comprehensive filtering options including location, while individual enrichments may have more limited parameters.
Each row has different location and I am dealing with 3k rows, i can't provide list of location
For row-level location filtering with 3k different locations, use the Find People feature through Actions > "Find People at These Companies" rather than enrichments. In the Find People modal, you can map your location column as a filter parameter, allowing each row to use its specific location value automatically. This eliminates the need to manually provide a list of all locations.
where can i find the filter parameter option
In the Find People modal, filter parameters are located in the left sidebar under the "Sources" tab. After opening Actions > "Find People at These Companies", you'll see available search parameters displayed on the left side, including: ** Location: Include or exclude countries, regions, cities, states, or provinces ** Job titles, experience, bio keywords, profile filters, certifications, and languages You can map your location column directly to the location filter parameter, allowing each row to automatically use its specific location value.
In the Find People modal, the location filter only accepts static text input - you cannot map a column from your table to it. The location parameter "can only take one input" like a specific city or country. For row-level location filtering with different cities per row, you'll need to use the "Find Contacts at Company" enrichment instead, which allows column mapping for location parameters. This enrichment adds results as columns rather than creating a new table like Find People does.
In the "Find Contacts at Company" enrichment, you can map your city column in the location parameters section. This enrichment allows column mapping for location filtering, unlike the Find People feature which only accepts static text input. Look for the location filter options within the enrichment setup where you can select your city column from your table to filter contacts by their specific locations.
Hi Meenal, thank you for your patience! You can input the city column by scrolling down and looking for "Locations"
