How do I remove duplicate search results from a business search in google maps from two different searches in clay. I did one search, then did another in a similar overlapping geography, and now I have duplicates. I only want to remove the new duplicates, not the originals from the first search. What is the best way to do this?
Use our "Auto-dedupe" function to remove duplicates while preserving your original records. Click the button at the bottom-right of your table, toggle on "Enable automatic deduplication," and select a unique identifier column (like business name or address) under "Dedupe via column."
Alternatively, use our Lookup integration to check if records from your second search already exist in your first table before adding them. This prevents duplicates from being created in the first place.

Give me more info on how to use our lookup integration?
Our Lookup integration lets you check if records exist in other Clay tables before adding new ones, preventing duplicates.
Two main options:
β’ Lookup Single Row - Checks for one specific record in another table [1]
β’ Lookup Multiple Rows - Finds multiple matching records based on your criteria [2]
How to set it up:
Add enrichment column and search for "Lookup"
Select the table you want to search
Choose your matching criteria (email, domain, business name)
Run to check if records already exist [3]
This prevents creating duplicates by verifying existing data first, which is perfect for your Google Maps search scenario. [4]
