Hey team, Is it possible to turn my table into a template so that I can import it into another workbook later on?
Yes! You have two options to turn your table into a template:
Option 1: Share as Template
Click the "Actions" button in your table, select "Share as template", then "Turn on sharing". This creates a shareable link you can use to import the template into another workbook. [1]
Option 2: Personal Template
Duplicate your table and move it to a separate workbook. This keeps the table structure without the data, and you can duplicate it whenever needed.
Both methods preserve your table structure so you can reuse it in other workbooks.

I can't find my newly created template in the new workbook I want to import it into
To use your template in a new workbook:
Open your workspace
Click +Create New > Table > Use Template
Choose your template from the list
Click Add to Workspace [1]
If you created a personal template by duplicating your table, make sure it's in a separate workbook and clearly labeled (like adding '[Template Do Not Delete]' to the title).
If you still can't find it, the template might not have been created properly or could be in a different location than expected.

Yes but doesn't work
Let's troubleshoot this. Can you share:
What specific error message you're seeing (if any)
A screenshot of what happens when you try the steps
The exact name of your template
Also, try clicking into any specific cells where you're seeing issues - this will show more details about what's going wrong.
This will help me figure out what's blocking your template from appearing.

So I share the table as a template but then when I want to add it as a template it doesn't show up in the list
When you share a table as a template, it creates a shareable link but doesn't automatically add it to the template list in "Use Template". [1]
To use your shared template in a new workbook, you'll need to use the public link you copied when sharing it. The template won't appear in the standard template list - you access it directly through the link. [2]
If you want a template that shows up in your workspace's template list, try creating a personal template instead: duplicate your table and move it to a separate workbook.
