Upgrading Free Clay Account with Referral: Is It Possible?

Hello! I have a free Clay account and I wanted to use a referral to upgrade to a paid account. is that possible with the already existing free account (if yes, how? ) or referrals work only for signing up?

Unfortunately, we aren't able to grant any referral credits to those who didn't sign up using a referral link. Referral credits are only awarded when someone signs up using your referral link and activates a paying workspace - both parties earn 3,000 credits. Since you already have an existing free account, you wouldn't be able to use a referral link to get credits when upgrading to a paid plan. The referral program specifically requires using the referral link during the initial sign-up process.
