Hi everyone, I know that this community holds the best of the best ppl in the industry when it comes to growth hack and RevOps related questions. Is there anyone that has experience with email blacklist and how to get your domain removed from these? I was made avare today that our main domain is listed on 2 blacklist and I do not know how to get us unlisted. We have been experiencing a lot of our emails now landing in spam and getting rejected.

Hey there Pontus thanks for reaching out, this is a really good question and I'm interested to see what other users have to contribute here. While I am not as familiar with this process as other might be, the best way to approach is is to start by check what the protocol is to be removed from each list, as not all blacklist providers have the same guidelines for removal.
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
Yeah, looking forward hearing what they have to say about this :)
Hey Pontus! Would love to provide some steps that may help you get your domain unlisted and improve email deliverability. Here are some resources I've come across that can help address this issue: 1. Identify the Blacklists: First, identify which blacklists your domain is on. You can use a tool like MXToolbox to run a quick check across multiple lists. 2. Request Delisting: Once you know where youβre listed, most blacklists allow you to submit a removal request. A popular one is Invaluement. 3. Review Sending Practices: Make sure you're following best practices for email, including: - List Hygiene: Only send emails to people who have opted in. - Authentication: Set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to authenticate your domain. - Content Guidelines: Avoid spammy content (e.g., lots of capital letters or excessive links) and include unsubscribe options. 4. Monitor Your Email Reputation: Keep an eye on future deliverability by using tools like Google Postmaster Tools or Microsoft SNDS. Hope this helps! π
